Stripe V3 Rollout Begins

New

We are moving to the latest version of Stripe, version 3. This is also known as Stripe Elements. The biggest change here is the level of PCI compliance has increased to SAQ A.

You can read more about Stripe's PCI compliance at https://stripe.com/docs/security#validating-pci-compliance. All organisations using Echoleft are using Stripe Connect. Echoleft itself uses Stripe Elements. You'll see in their documentation that both solutions provide a pre-filled SAQ A.

This initial rollout is on a limited group of events for testing. Once we're confident that the new version is working well, it will be rolled out for all event bookings and donations.
