Everyone uses some type of browser to access Echoleft, for the majority of people that's either Safari on their iPhone/iPad, or Chrome on their computer. The great thing about those browsers is that they are updated automatically, receiving security updates and new functionality from Google and Apple.

Some people use an older browser, Internet Explorer, many versions of which no longer receive security updates. That means it's less secure and can't handle some of the features that are used on modern websites like Echoleft.

At Echoleft, we support Internet Explorer 11 but we can't guarantee that the site will function or appear correctly on older versions(version 10 and earlier). Until now, that wasn't made clear, so we've added a big notice at the top of every page if you're using an unsupported version of Internet Explorer. Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer 10 in 2016.

If you're seeing that message, you should use an alternative browser or look to upgrade to version 11. Until you do, your computer is not safe and secure on the web as it's not receiving those security updates.

If you have any questions, let us know.

Behind The Scenes Updates 🤓 We've also rebuilt some of our payment code in preparation for a new feature that will be announced soon, if you notice any issues around payments for donations or ticketing/registrations, please let us know.
